Your first call can be this afternoon.
One day is all you need to learn.
The tech learns the phone on the first stop. The desk learns the board by putting that stop on Today. The first call teaches you the rest.
Open a shop this afternoon.
1
Open the shop
Enter the shop name, your name, a mobile number, an email, a password, and a 4-digit office PIN. The board starts empty. That is on purpose.
2
Add the people
Give a PIN to anyone who should sign in. Field and Office for the same person count as one. The truck uses a name and four digits.
3
Put one call on Today
Add the customer, the time window, and who is going. That first call is the lesson. Tomorrow you run a real day.
You can run a call before you connect QuickBooks® Online. Add a customer when they call.
Follow one morning.
1. The desk
Today is one day. The desk puts Bob on an 8–10 at a house, then a later stop at a school.
2. The truck
Bob taps a name and four digits. Those stops fill the screen. It is only Bob’s day.
3. On the way
The tech taps On the way, then On site. The office sees that on Today.
4. The work
The tech talks the ticket. What they did, the hours, and the parts go on the bill. The desk sets the prices. If the mic misses a word, the tech types a short note.
5. The bill
The customer can sign on the truck. The tech can print a preview and send it in. The desk prices the parts and closes the bill. Then you can email or text it. A finished invoice pushes to QuickBooks® Online.
