One shop. One board.

TechTrax Software LLC offers Office and Field. Shop is the company that purchases TechTrax and opens an account. The person who opens the account is old enough to agree, and confirms that they can bind Shop. Opening an account, signing in, or using Office or Field means Shop agrees to these terms and to the privacy page. Together, those two pages are the agreement.

We can update these terms by posting them on this page and changing the date at the bottom. A change that affects the price, or what Shop can do, is posted here before it applies. If Shop keeps using TechTrax after that date, Shop is on the new terms. If Shop does not agree, Shop stops using TechTrax and cancels in Billing.

TechTrax is the desk and the truck. Today is one day. A call has a date and a window. A job holds the calls, the hours, the parts, and the profit. Settings holds the shop name, the work types, the crew, and support. Shop uses TechTrax for its own work, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, appliance, handyman, garage door, locksmith, pool, and hot tub work, at homes and at companies.

Each person who should sign in gets their own login. A crew PIN opens Field for that person. Shop’s phone plan applies when Field is open on a phone.

Opening an account asks for a name, a mobile, the box under that number, an email, a password, and an office PIN. That person manages Shop: billing, crew, and cancellation. Shop keeps the name, mobile, and email current. The password and each PIN stay with that person. Do not share a login.

Crew who should use Office or Field are added in Settings. When someone leaves, archive them so they cannot sign in. Shop is responsible for what its people do on the board. If two people claim the same Shop, we can ask for the Shop email and pause Office until it is clear who manages it. Tell us if someone who should not be in gets in.

A new shop gets 14 days free. The card is kept through Stripe®. Cancel in Billing before those days end if the shop does not want the paid month. After that, the shop pays $159 / month · $99 a month, limited offer. That covers up to 8 people, billed a month at a time. Texting and Card Payments is $29 / month. A month that has started is not refunded. There is no credit for a partial month. If a charge looks wrong, email support@techtrax.app within 60 days of the charge. If the price changes, Billing shows the new price before the next charge. Any tax a government adds is Shop’s to pay. Canceling, or a failed card, locks Office and Field until the shop subscribes again. $99 a month for the shop stays the same when Texting and Card Payments is on or off.

The live board belongs to Shop: customers, sites, calls, crew, hours, parts, and bills. Shop lets us host that board and show it to Shop’s people, so the desk and the trucks see the same day. We do not sell the board, and we do not use it to advertise other products. Download a .trax file at any time in Settings, and do that before Shop cancels. TechTrax is the working board for the day, not a place to store the only copy of Shop’s records.

We can change Office and Field as Shop needs them.

TechTrax texts the mobile entered when Shop opens an account only if the person opening the account checks the box under that number. The box is optional. The shop opens if it is left unchecked, and no text is sent. The box says: I agree to receive automated operational updates and system alerts via text from TechTrax at the number provided. A text to a customer opens in the phone’s own Messages app. Shop is responsible for those texts, including having the customer’s agreement to receive them.

Shop puts its own customers on the board. A home is usually one address. A company can have more than one site. Shop has the right to keep those names, phones, and addresses, to obtain the customer’s agreement where the law requires it, and to show them to the crew Shop lets in.

When Texting and Card Payments is on, card deposits go to Shop’s bank through Stripe®. Connect Shop’s own business account. Do not connect a personal account or an account that belongs to someone else. The card fee on a deposit is 2.9% + 30¢. TechTrax does not add to that fee. The charge is between Shop and its customer. Shop handles a dispute with that customer.

Shop will not resell TechTrax, copy it to build another product, or try to break or overload it. Shop will not put information on the board that Shop has no right to keep. Shop follows the law that applies to its own customers, its own texts, and its own charges.

TechTrax runs as it is. We do not promise a particular uptime, a recovered file, or a result on a call. We are not responsible for a missed visit, a truck, a customer’s bill, or a text Shop sends from a phone. If Shop and TechTrax Software LLC have a dispute about the product, TechTrax Software LLC’s responsibility is limited to the fees Shop paid us in the three months before the dispute.

If a claim is brought against TechTrax Software LLC because of how Shop used the board, texted its customers, or charged a card, Shop covers that claim.

Stripe® holds Shop’s card and, when card deposits are on, pays Shop’s bank. The messaging service delivers a text to Shop’s mobile. A connected accounting package receives a bill only after Shop connects it.

If something is on fire in the field, that is Shop’s responsibility. We can lock Shop if Shop does not pay, breaks these terms, or has to be locked for a valid legal request.
